We visited the west visitor center: Red Hills. It is on the edge of Tucson. I think Tucson was my favorite place in this area. The views were spectacular every time we went there.
We should have been there here when the visitor center opened. It was too hot to walk around much, but they had a great drive through for viewing. It was about 5 miles and unpaved. We stopped at a place to see petroglyphs in the stone. I don’t agree with some of the [science] when they start discussing the beginning of man and historical timelines, but the artifacts are undeniable.

They had a video that I thought would teach us about the cactus. However, it discussed the native Americans and their spirituality. However, at the end, the screen went up and the outside scene was sweet.

He sure thinks he would like to see a snake in the wild. I’m glad we haven’t ๐.
