I always toil on where to park us for the week. This place is pretty basic, but they had everything we needed. It provides access to the shuttle, which can transport us to the National Park. It also is situated in the midst of a little town, Tusayan. This town center is a little less than one mile long. It was really nice to be so close to various places and to the Grand Canyon.
When we arrived on Sunday, I had a bad headache and had to stay in bed. Malachi and Caleb rode their bikes to Wendy’s. However, they didn’t have Malachi’s chicken nuggets that day, so I promised him that we would go back before we leave. On Monday night, we let Caleb walk to get us a pizza from the local restaurant.
Our last day here, Anna and Malachi returned their Junior Ranger books. We rode the shuttle. Malachi insisted on taking his bike, so we had to lock it up while we were on the shuttle ๐. And, he got his Wendy’s meal.
We saw plenty of elk ๐ซ and raven in the area.
