We needed to conquer about 700 miles to get closer to about halfway home. During research, we learned that Kansas rest areas allow you to stay for 24 hrs. You can even pitch a tent. So, we stayed overnight near Ellsworth, Kansas.
On a side note, we have learned that bathroom/rest areas are not so common in many roads we’ve been on. We have adapted…we just pull over on the side of the road and use our own bathroom that is in the back of the RV.
We found beautiful flower fields somewhere between Colorado and Kansas..
