On our trip last year, we really only had two long travel weekends… To get to our starting location and to head home. So, this is a different experience.
Once Sean finished work for the day, we started out on i10 to get to Arizona. We left the rural areas and also big cities of Texas and entered the Hill Country.

The rest stops in the hills have been interesting. They are super cute and quaint. Their parking is just along the curb. Sean thought he was done working, but we hung out for about 1.5 hours while he worked online and helped with a problem.

Usually on travel days, we pull in a big parking lot and sleep for the night, but the options were more limited in this area, so we had to pivot and find a spot. Gotta love Google maps. I found a great spot for a great price. I couldn’t tell if it was an RV park, mobile home park or RV storage; it may have been a combination of all of those. It was very unique. Ha!
Sean was able to detach from the truck and get gas without pulling the RV into the gas station. Much easier.
