We only had a half of a day to conquer this area. We visited the Salato Wildlife Center, which was run by the state of Kentucky. Afterwards, we headed to see Daniel Boone’s gravesite, which had an amazing view of the capitol building. We also visited historic downtown Frankfort. It was a cute area; we walked through the Frankfort History Museum…they did a great job designing it.
