It still amazes me that we can shower, sleep and fix breakfast in a parking lot; I mean, we have our whole home right there with us… It’s how we roll sometimes. We’re thankful for an integrated generator to power us overnight.
We have been to quite a few different Buc-ees. I have never been in one sooooo busy. There was a looooong line at the bathrooms and the store was packed!! Thankfully, Sean has nerves of steel to navigate that crazy parking lot.
We only had to cover 425 miles today, but the nature of the beast is that it takes longer than expected. We were on the road from 7:15am EST until 5:00pm CST. That is 11 hours!!! It has been a long day… and we have almost as much ground to cover tomorrow to arrive at our destination, but a little less, thankfully. Interstate 10: it is what it is. ๐
Tonight, we will sleep in parking lot of the Cabela’s/Bass Pro Shop in Denham Springs, LA tonight. We spent some time in the store. Then, I cooked the lasagna I bought on sale a couple of weeks ago… It was pretty good. The air fryer cooked out garlic breadsticks.
