We traveled to Houston for the NASA center, but we needed to try *what I think is* one of the original Shipley Donuts. Opinion: Caleb really liked the donuts but he wasn’t impressed with the icing.
We also needed to get some BBQ before leaving Texas. Apparently, Texas BBQ must include sausage links, however, Sean tried the ribs and Caleb tried the chicken. The rub was impressive. It was a great local spot that was little more hipster than we’re used to. I tried to get Kreuz BBQ in Lockhart on our way home from Austin, but we didn’t organize our time well and they closed before we got there.
