We had a fun (and very hot) day visiting Austin, Texas. I let the kids sleep in until almost 9, which gave us a later start. We didn’t get back home until after 9:00pm.
We started by visiting the Capitol Building. They have a great visitor center. Anna says with all of the exhibits, this state house has been her favorite. The Texas state building is 14 ft higher than our Nation’s capitol building!

We found Thinkery, an ASTC reciprocal children’s museum. They had some pretty cool and interactive activities.

We enjoyed a great snow cone before heading to the Barton Springs swimming pool. Information: the pool itself measures three acres in size, and is fed from underground springs with an average temperature of 68-70 degrees. It connects with the Colorado River. By the way, that is colder than the usual Florida springs. ๐ณ
