When President William McKinley was shot in Buffalo at the Exposition, Theodore Roosevelt was swarn in as quickly as possible. It was at his friend’s house in Buffalo, New York. We visited it today and had a docent led tour. Interesting face: There are not any pictures of him being sworn in. There were two photographers there that day. However, they got into each other’s way and Roosevelt wasn’t happy with either of the results.
